Detail design of 211 km of roads selected from feasibility studies sponsored by the Asian Development Bank:
- Widening and construction of shoulders of Sitalakhya-Daudkandi and Feni-Chittagong sections, and Chandina, Comilla, and Feni bypasses of the Dhaka-Chitaggong National Road (N-1, 100 km)
- Widening and construction of shoulders on the Chittagong-Dohazari section of the Chittagong-Cox’s Bazar National Road (N-1, 16 km)
- Widening and construction of shoulders on the Dhaka-Tangail National Road (N-4, 70 km) including bypass at Tangail
- Widening and construction of shoulders on the Nabinagar-Chandra Road (15 km).
Brief Description of Services Provided
Pavement Engineer was responsible for the following:
- Pavement design
- Recycling of old pavement materials.
In addition, Pavement Engineer provided assistance with the following:
- Establishment of design criteria
- Discussion on suitable road improvement schemes
- Preparation of draft report, drawings and documents
- Preparation and delivery of final report, drawings and documents
- Preparation and delivery of Project Completion Report.
