Must have 5 years minimum experience. Proficiency in MicroStation and/or AutoCAD design platforms. Knowledge of electrical systems, current codes and interface with DC.
Duties include preparation of calculations and drawings for assigned AC electrical system elements of a Metrorail project. The design scope includes power systems for all electrical services normally associated with heavy rail transit station, including power for lighting and communications and alarm systems. Facilities include stations, entrances, mezzanine and platform areas, service rooms, entrance pavilions, pedestrian bridges, etc; similar design will be performed for Wayside and Maintenance Facilities, including a Service and Inspection Building Annex, yard facilities, interface with DC traction power substations, tie-breaker stations, and other ancillary buildings.
